Palmer Ranch Neighborhoods in Sarasota, Florida.   Palmer Ranch is one of the more popular and largest of the master planned communities in Sarasota.  What is today known as Palmer Ranch was once a 10,000 acre plot of farming land for cattle and citrus farms that was purchased by Bertha Honore Palmer, a wealthy socialite business woman in 1910.  Today this area is home to thousands of residents who now call Sarasota home.  Palmer Ranch is located starting on the south side of Clark Road and runs south being bordered by route 41, Tamiami Trail and Honore Ave.

Palmer Ranch is home to 19 different communities and neighborhoods, from single family homes to maintenance fee villlas and condos.  This area of Sarasota has become very desirable because of its close location to shopping, theatres, schools, the YMCA, the Legacy bike trail, boating in the Gulf of Mexico, and the world famous Siesta Key Beach.

Palmer Ranch also has 2 very prominent World Class golf country clubs, "TPC Prestancia Country Club"



 

and "Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club", along with one of Sarasota's premiere Tennis Club,

"The Serendipity Tennis Country Club".
